Born in Ankara, Turkey. Graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics in 1998. Completed her MA and PhD at the same department. Currently wors as an Assistant Prof. at Samsun Ondokuz Mayis University, Department of Fine Arts Education. Participated in many national and international scientific and art events. Published her articles in national and internatiol magazines. Received Mention Special Prize of Jury of the II. Bienal International Del Mosaico Contemporaneo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Was honoured by the research bursary of Hungarian Ministry of Education in 2005 by the research bursary of Chinese Ministry of Education in 2008 and by scholarship for the 13. International Turkish Arts Congress (Budapest) by Max Van Berchem Fondation (Switzerland) in 2007. Invited as a speaker to the 2nd. ICMEA Conference, Fuping, China. Her works are in the collections of Kecskemet International Ceramics Museum (Hungary), Perdasdefogu Ceramics Museum (Sardegna,Italy), Rumbo Cultur Center, Museum of Contemporary Ceramics Art (Spain), Camaguey Museum of Contemporary Ceramics Art (Cuba), Li Ziyuan Art Center (Zibo, China) Member of The Art Educators Council (SEDER, Turkey) and The Turkish Ceramics Council (Turkey),National Society of Education in Art and Design (NSEAD, UK).
