The University of Arts in Belgrade together with the Université de Lyon 2, opens a call for its MA programme in Cultural Policy and Management (Interculturalism and Mediation in the Balkans)- UNESCO Chair for the academic year 2010-2011.

The MA in Cultural Policy and Management is implemented through lectures, project making, research based learning, problem-solving, small group work, individual and group tutorials, internships in France and the Balkan countries, seminars and workshops designed to help the student develop wider contextual understanding, research skills and awareness of professional issues.

The courses are taught in both English and French (translated in English). Non-French-speaking students are given opportunity to gain fundamental knowledge of French language by attending the French Course pro bono.

As it encourages most of the students to become practicing professionals, an internship in the field is obligatory, but previous professional experience might also be credited. The programme is concluded by Master thesis research.

Application deadlines are for June inscription period 1st July 2010 and for September inscription period 27th September 2010. Subsequently selection interview is arranged. International applicants may be interviewed through the online questioners. Applicants may also be contacted by phone or email, if required, to clarify certain elements of their application.
