You can still apply for the courses of Sonia Abian, Katrina Daschner, Ulrica Lundberg, Lucy McKenzie, Liliana Moro, Dierk Schmidt, Alice Creischer and Andreas Siekmann and Atelier Le Balto.

The courses of Krystyna Piotrowska, Susanne Tunn/Knut Wold, Elfie Semotan/Roberto Ohrt and Manuel Vilhena are already fully booked.

This year focuses especially on painting, either exclusively or in combination with other media. Ulrica Lundberg and Lucy McKenzie concentrate on painting techniques: Still Life deals with questions of representative painting, while the Decorative Painting Studio offers an introduction to traditional techniques such as trompe-lóeil, repeat patter, stencilling and marbling. The class directed by Alice Creischer and Andreas Siekmann on Plasticine animation is somewhere between sculpture and video.

Landscape and garden architecture
Véronique Faucheur (urbanist) and Marc Pouzol (landscape architect and gardener) of Berlin based Atelier Le Balto direct this years Architecture class with the question: Where is the garden? The focus will be on cultivating an eye for local features, seeking a location and realising the garden. www.lebalto.de
