Dear Colleagues and Friends,

we would like to draw your attention to the new initiative Scenography Expanding Symposia 2010 by Praque Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, New Theatre Institute of Latvia and other international partners. The first Symposia will take place in Riga on February 25-27, 2010 and will focus on spectatorship.

Due to limited audience capacity both, speakers and listeners, are asked to register and send filled application form to pq@pq.cz by December 15, 2009.
Participants have to cover their travel costs and stay in Riga (we will offer hotel for a special price).
Researchers in practice and theory and artists are invited to present a paper covering the themes mentioned above. Please send an abstract (max. 300 words) and short bio to Symposia conveners Sodja Lotker (sodja.lotker@pq.cz) and Thea Brejzek (thea.brejzek@zhdk.ch) by December 15, 2009.

The Symposium participation fee is:
for speakers - free of charge;
for professionals - 20 euro;
for students - 5 euro.
