The professional conference entitled Theatre Between Tradition and Contemporaneity will take place in Leitring bei Leibnitz, Austria, on 17 -21 December 2012, aiming to research the bridge between tradition and contemporaneity in performing arts. The conference, which is open to different art genres, is inviting performers, performing arts educators, teachers, artists, playwrights, theatre critics, journalists, theatre researchers and arts managers from all over the world interested in the research of traditional methods as applied to contemporary performing arts work. The working language is English. The conference is an opportunity to meet potential collaborators from different countries. At the moment the conference is accepting presentation proposals.
