Paintings submitted to the prize will be selected for exhibition by: Marie Holland (Central Art Gallery), Jenny Brownrigg (Mackintosh Museum, The Glasgow School of Art), Benet Spencer (Ruskin Gallery), Hannah Jones (The Gallery at Plymouth College of Art), London venue representative, and Marcus Cope and Stephanie Moran (Marmite Prize curators).

They will then be judged by these great painters who will choose a winner and two runners up: Dawn Mellor (painter), Marta Marce (painter), Tim Stoner (painter) and Iain Andrews (painter).

The prizewinner will receive a specially made artwork kindly donated by Richard Wentworth. The runners up will receive a pat on the back.

The Marmite Prize for Painting is open for submissions, deadline Sunday 1st July.
